Cold brew
Smooth, sweet, and low-acid. Zero effort, just patience — make it overnight, drink it all week.

You'll need
- Jar or carafe
- Fine sieve or filter
- Scale

Step by step
- 1Add 100g of coarse coffee to a large jar.
- 2Pour 800g of cold water, stir to wet all the grounds, and put the lid on.
- 3Steep in the fridge for 14–18 hours.
- 4Strain through a fine sieve, then again through a paper filter for a cleaner cup.
- 5Serve over ice, neat or cut 1:1 with water or milk. Keeps a week in the fridge.
If it tastes off
Too intense
Dilute to taste — cold brew is a concentrate.
Cloudy or silty
Filter a second time through paper.
Flat and dull
Steep a few hours longer or use a fresher bag.
