PUNKT is the point where great coffee, easy café culture, and playful design meet. We don't roast it — we choose it, pour it, and hand it to you with something good to eat.

The two of us

Ivaka & Mimsi

To everyone around us, we're Ivaka and Mimsi. To everyone else, we're a still-young couple who decided the neighbourhood needed better coffee — and somewhere good to sit with it. We met by chance; it turned out to be the grand prize.

Mimsi is the one behind the bar dialling in the grinder, pulling the shots, and deciding which coffees earn a place on the menu. If it's in your cup, she chose it — and she chose it by drinking it.

Ivaka will talk you through what you're drinking, why it tastes like blackcurrant, and which bite to have with it. Mimsi makes the coffee; Ivaka makes you fall for it.

Why we don't roast

We don't roast. We choose.

Roasting well is a full-time craft, so we leave it to people who've spent years mastering it. What we do all day is taste. We cup our way through Europe's best specialty coffee roasters, argue about it, and only bring back the coffees we can't stop thinking about.

Every bag on our shelf was chosen the same way you'd choose it: by drinking it. And because our roasters ship us small batches every week, the coffee that reaches you is days off the roaster — not months off a warehouse shelf.

And it's not just coffee. The same instinct runs through the fridge and the wine list — craft beer from small Bulgarian brewers, natural and bio wine from little local wineries — all chosen the same way: by tasting, and by liking the people who make it.

How we got here

A short, honest timeline.

No origin myth, no ten-year overnight success. Just two people, a lot of coffee, and a mascot that got out of hand.

    Two people, one grinder

    Ivaka and Mimsi meet by chance and — somewhere between the flirting and the espresso — fall for specialty coffee together. It turns out to be the grand prize.

  2. Year one

    PUNKT opens its doors

    A compact café in [neighbourhood], a serious espresso machine, and a stubborn belief that good coffee should feel fun, not fussy. Founded in [founding year].

    The roaster family grows

    We add specialty coffee roasters across Europe to the rotation — each one chosen the hard way, one cupping table at a time.
